I don't know about RI, but in pensacola, at NAMI, they KNEW what was on the line for pilots and the HMs were very patient with us.

Not so with the little fuckstain that was doing my anthros. After I was outside the norms on three measurements he very gleefully said "Yay! I get to use my stamp!" - Each time he stamped my antrho form. I told him to watch his attitude or I'd have a word with his LPO and Chief about his unproffesionalism. Fuckwad.

In the end, the only one I had the potential of being anthro'd out of was the C-130, so I had to do a fit check in the T-44. The FS that did it asked me if I wanted C-130's and I said "nope." He told me I probably wouldn't get them, but I fit just fine - so he signed me off as good.

It still pisses me off that the little HM3 fucknuts acted the way he did.

When we went through the clinic, nobody had much of a clue what was on the line for us. Just about everyone scored way less on their eye tests. They had marked me down as needing glasses but when I got to Pensacola I tested 20/15 in both eyes.
Then they proceeded to take my blood every other day for a variety of tests, to the point, in candio phase, they told me that I might not be able to graduate on time. Turns out the waiver that I would of needed just had to be signed off on, why they took 18,000 blood samples instead of processing one waiver is beyond me. All the HMs and the flight docs came out and said that dealing with NOMI is new to them since they had never processed aviators before and just to be patient. I hope the recent classes have an easier time then we did.

So are the flight physicals at OCS anything like the physical at MEPS where you carry around your folder and wonder around from station to station? Do they test anything else that they don't get to at MEPS?

You sit in a room and get your name called out when you have a certain portion. As for what happens in the physical, there is no physical more stringent than a commissioning flight physical out there. They test damn near everything.

I had a question about the flight physical. I have been cleared through MEPS and am going to OCS to become a Navy Pilot. However, I am worried about my flight physical. On my original MEPS exam I left off some medical information in my background. It is not anything that would harm me in the future or keep me from flying, it was just info I wanted to keep off my record; however, it would easily be discovered with a background check into my insurance that I lied.

When you go for a flight physical will they further exam my background or am I in the clear once I passed MEPS. I heard they mainly test your physical condition at the time. Please let me know as I do not want to get into trouble later on after completing OCS.

You just opened a can of un-fun worms. Unless you're a flight doc, who are you to decide what wouldn't hurt anyone, or keep you from flying?

That doesn't even address the fact that you don't have the integrity to fill out a simple form. You can literally get away with almost anything as long as you are up front and honest about it. Buck up, let your recruiter know that you lied on medical documents, and that you need to go back and fix them.

Here are my thoughts on integrity, while you're listening. I stole this from a CDR who spoke to a bunch of us way back when: "Lying is like sucking d***. Sure, you might only do it once, but you'll still be known as a c***sucker for the rest of your life."

Why would you leave information off you physical just because "YOU" think nobody else needs to know what it is? That should have been an initial question to your OR on whether whatever medical/physical problems you have would disqualify you from becoming and Officer and Pilot. However, like schoolbubba said only a flight doc can tell you whether or not you are qualified to fly. Though by taking a look at some of your posts it seems a lot of them are "you" worrying about the information you left off keeping your from passing your flight physical. I think somewhere in the process you missed the line in the application that says, "I agree that all information stated above is correct."

You do realize that after you get a Pro-Rec when signing your FinDocs for your FS there is a release for the Navy to not only call your physician to ask about your medical/mental history but there is also a release that allows them to look into your insurance files and history.

Whether they do or not, I have no clue, but it seems you are setting yourself up for failure early on.

My advice, call your OR and come clean. Sure it might mean you don't even make it to OCS, but it sure is better than getting there and having them find out that you lied on your application which is a federal offense.

I think everyone here needs to go rent Gattaca and reevaluate themselves and their "holier than though" bs mentalities. Now Skydiving is probably in the wrong in this situation but he hasn't given us enough information for us to know for sure and so we shouldn't jump to conclusions and make accusations we have no right making.

I'm sorry you think I don't have integrity by lying. I was told by my recruiter that the information was unimportant and to leave it off the form. Now looking back I probably should have put it on the form but it is to late to change anything now, that is why I am asking. If you don't want to help answer the question that is fine, but don't presume to judge me.

I had the same experience with my recruiter telling me to leave certain things off, but remember, it probably made the process easier, which was good for both of you at the time, but now you're stuck with it. I'd listen to those above, and tread very carefully from here on out, because a lie is a lie, so choose your words wisely when talking to any doctor from here on out.
