Yup, 5R. Eventually sometime soon, I'm guessing the stock will get a painted makeover.
Because Magpul needs to release their UBR Gen 2 stock sooner rather than later, so I can finish rebuilding my AR.
MK18 build?Why is it so quiet in here?

CQBR Block 2. Already have the MK18 and apparently it needed a friend. Been sitting on the parts for a couple of years and finally decided to build it up. Time to go zero...
Something I have never really considered but this month's print issue of Outdoor Life has a big article on airguns - did not realize they were making these so powerful. 350 grain, .45 calibre projectile moving at 850FPM.

Nice Elcan. How do you like it? I debated, but got a Nightforce NXS instead.
It's got its pluses and minuses. I've had it for almost a year. Lost of the same things you read about online are what you'll find. FOV and eye-relief are better than an ACOG, but it's heavier. Mine isn't a SU-230, but the civilian version, so the stadia are thicker than optimal, but they still work just fine. I need to run it some more to see how it does closer in. It's definitely slower than a RDS, and there's a little bit of tube suck, but it seems more forgiving than an ACOG or full-on tube scope, and on a good day, faster than both.
