But new gear is cool. Geissele is working to put Crane out of business. I'm a Gucci gear kind of guy too...
Crane:NAVAIR. They procure and build, they don't generally invent. And contrary to what Geissele says, a contract URG-I isn't necessarily the same as a commercial URG-I.
By the way, nothing cures a URG-I like some cranberry juice.

Latest Purchase, LWRC DI556, running it with a spare aimpoint I had laying around for now. Shoots great, looks like a narwhal. 
How much did you pay for it? I’m in the market for something AR-ish, like an FN15.
It was about 1300 shipped. LWRC is new to direct impingement, but their quality is outstanding. I was between this rifle and a Bravo Company Recce-16. Both are absolutely great rifles. I took a gander at some of the Colt models as well, they have some pretty good rifles/carbines for sub 1k
