When did you two say you can go to OCS? How old are you Murphy?
Immediate availability and I am 24.
FYI clicking on the users name will show the age if they have it enabled.

FYI on my iPhone lol. But yes I know. Huh that is weird. My OR had said most OCS class dates were filled up up till August.Immediate availability and I am 24.

I'm 28, taking a NFO spot. If I got to the June second class I'd graduate the day before my 29th birthday. I don't miss the hurry up and wait game. Go Navy!John I'm in the same boat as you, minus the worry about age. My OR told me last Monday that it could take 1-2 weeks to get the FS. Considering Vandy got June 2nd last week in an FS it makes me think those of us who have not heard yet are less likely to receive it given time frame. However, I am just guessing and I would be willing to bet that 2 weeks notice may seem short to us, but is more than long enough for the Navy. All we can do at this point is wait some more, workout and start memorizing in case we do get June 2nd on later notice!
I hope everyone is having a fantastic Monday!
Doesn't prior get 48 months? So you would have till 31 I thought.I'm 28, taking a NFO spot. If I got to the June second class I'd graduate the day before my 29th birthday. I don't miss the hurry up and wait game. Go Navy!

Yeah I was only age critical for SNA, which is why I listed NFO as my number one. I just want to get to OCS ASAP.Doesn't prior get 48 months? So you would have till 31 I thought.
Sarcasm noted, and not only by me. Out of only 37 posts you have made since joining AW, you have racked up 7 negative ratings, which is I believe, an AW record. Arrogantly insulting your fellow candidates & winged Commissioned Officers here, will not be beneficial to you if you wish to join us. In your first week on AW, you "awarded" fellow posters 4 negative ratings before you even made your first post, another AW record. Humility is not your strong suit... strongly suggest you don't keep on diggin'.. OUT!

That information from your OR would seem to contradict all the information that has been discussed on this particular thread. Especially the necessity of these rolling boards to fill up the remaining FY13 numbers, as indicated by the Texas Navy Recruiting website and other ORs who pushed our packages in for these boards. Not to mention Vandy getting his FS for June 2 after just being selected. Though, I have no source of information beyond drawing conclusions from what I have read and been told from my OR.
Idk. I am just hoping my package gets pro boarded incase there is another rolling board and I didn't miss these high selection rates. That information from your OR would seem to contradict all the information that has been discussed on this particular thread. Some of the commentary on here is seemingly less than constructive, and more specifically the feedback directed to mtaylor. He is understandably concerned that he has automatically received an FS letter and OCS date when he was under the impression that he would have more time to weigh the pros and cons of his selection. I have been told that I will be able to pick as well, and although I would honestly take a position an "Ensign Deck Swabber" lol I would be slightly confused is I wasn't given the option. I think that his confusion and search for clarification deserves reasonable responses, and when he did receive them he was gracious and respectful when necessary. Bottom line, lets all cool it down in here, there has been a lot of unnecessary stress created by some users over the last few weeks. More so, it seems that people tend to jump on those who may consider selecting something "inferior" to a pilot position. Lets all remember that we are all on the same team here, and ultimately should be trying to help better each other rather than tear each other down. Good luck to all of us waiting on a rolling board!
All of the rumors being passed around at this point seem to indicate there will be. My OR believes that as well. If not, the scheduled one is in July I believe, and that would give me more time to PT All we can do is wait and see....Agree 100%. Is there suppose to be another rolling board?
I wouldn't take what BzB says seriously.5 of those 7 negative ratings are from the post I made on page 33 which are tied to "bad gouge" that I offered to share based on my current situation which is directly tied to the "bad gouge" I have received from my Officer Recruiter.
I was sharing my experiences from my current situation and it was subsequently rated as bad gouge. At this point I am beating a dead horse.
The gist of the situation of this: the way it is supposed to be done is that you are allowed to pick amongst the designators you are selected for. I was not allowed to do that and was sharing/relaying my particular experience and information. If people decided that that is called bad gouge then so be it; I'm not going to petition them to please take away their "thumbs down" negative ratings to make me feel better.
Apparently it IS bad gouge. I posted INCORRECT information. I am SHARING my situation that is entirely related to INCORRECT information.
If it makes everyone on this board happier, I will delete the post on page 33 and re-type a comment including details related to the way things are normally done and how in my particular case things were different, in the event that someone else has a similar situation.
NavyOffRec supplied some great information related to the timing of these ad hoc rolling Pilot and NFO boards and the SWO board in July.
