Congrats!

Interesting, I submitted before that and still haven’t heard back. As of noonish today my recruiter said he still hasn’t heard back from NRC. Any chance your results came in later in the day?
My recruiter let me know in the early afternoon. I would imagine with such a new program everyone’s results may vary. I haven’t been able to find any other posts about people getting accepted through the immediate selection so we may be some of the first going through it.

I emailed Paul my OCS application but he hasn't responded on acknowledgment of my application. The problem is that I will be going underway during the due date on 11MAR24, is there any other POC I can email for a timely response? Thank you.

Recruiter said my package was not reviewed in the last batch of immediate selection packages, but should be reviewed at the next one. There was a mix up with mine, which is why it didn’t get reviewed. Happens to me a lot!

It seems that immediate selection is rolling and results come out every 1-2 weeks, around midweek. I wonder if we should make a thread specifically for it. Gouge and results in a single place.

Hey all, I figured I would share this so everyone is aware.

I just got off the phone with my recruiter. According to her, pilots are filled up for this fiscal year and it sounds like they’re only taking NFOs for this round. I don’t know if that is a local thing to my station or not but it sounded like it’s a Navy-wide thing. She also informed me that the immediate selection board was only a one off sort of deal. Apparently they only did it in December and January and it doesn’t happen at the same time as the board.

Im skeptical on some of this so any confirmation is welcomed. But I figured I’d share what I heard as it’s pretty important and does change a lot of things for me.

Man I really hope that is not the case. Random office mix ups at my NTAG and NRC have prevented my package from being viewed twice now. My recruiter had people he submitted after me picked up via I-SEL with the same stats as me.

Shouldn't be because I was able to submit my package for SNA via NRC with no problem just last week. Would've rejected it if it were full for the FY.

I heard the same thing regarding immediate select from my recruiter about a month ago. I think between the last two boards and with the immediate select PA they have a pretty decent amount of SNA's already and are filled for FY24. However, I also saw some applicants were still selected after through the PA.

If you look at the board schedule, March's board is the first board for FY25. I have no idea if the number of needed applicants starts fresh or is influenced by current SNA's in the pipeline. I wouldn't let any of the confusion discourage you from applying in March.

March board is last board for FY25.
Can you explain this? I know the schedule says (4/4) FY 25 quotas for the April board and then the July board says (1/4) FY 25 quotas.

Is the April board actually for FY24? It seems out of order to me.

I submitted my package during deployment, and he was still the main poc. I remember he responds quick.

It is normal at this point to have the current FY filled or very close to it, what she is telling you makes me think she is new or isn't a full time Officer Recruiter.

FY 24 should be filled or close to it as the current FY. The April board would be to start to fill FY 25 or is some cases fill in any vacancies they have for the current FY.
March board is last board for FY25.
It is April not March and it is the 1st not last.

Just pay attention to the FY, that is what is important and yes April would be for FY25 as that is normal operating procedure.
