More to it than engine SHP. Drivetrain and blade design matters, too.Maybe they have more powerful engines?

You joke, but my Uncle was an Infantryman in Korea, At one point in his time in Korea he was assigned to those helicopters with the stretcher on the side as like a 1 man infantry guard and medical attendant I guess is what he did? Maybe someone here knows better.
Very cool.Hey Chuck, look at at what the Air Force Museum put on display.
I was there for the arrival! Actually it was during our Reserve Muster /AT. Landed at the old Wright Field , just south of WPAFB. A colleague of mine flew the pilot who ferried the plane to their home. It's a great story.Hey Chuck, look at at what the Air Force Museum put on display.
Here she is in her new home: (under the wing of a B-36 and next to an F-86D). This airplane still has an airworthiness cetificate and current registration. Probably worth over $125K on the market in current condition.I was there for the arrival! Actually it was during our Reserve Muster /AT. Landed at the old Wright Field , just south of WPAFB. The aircraft was recently repainted - all the museum crew had to do was give it a good wax job, and put preservative fluids in the engine and drain the fuel. It's a standard round dial 180hp 172.
The Griz-O-Copter is in for her annual…sigh…I hate annuals…it seems like they come around every year.
