I'm in the September board after submitting late for August.

BDCP SNA only
6/7/5 51 OAR
3.15 gpa at ERAU with major in Prof. Aero (June 2011)
2 LORs from 0-5 Pilots(1 Navy Ret., 1 Air Force Ret.) 1 LOR from current flight instructor
Interview from former F-14 Tomcat Pilot and Navy Test Pilot
242 TT Private Pilot, Instrument written
PRT- Excellent Low
Prior service-Active Duty Army and currently Naval Reserve Intel Specialist(IS)
TS/SCI clearance
High School All State Football/Basketball

It took me forever to get my DD Form-368 conditional release signed by BUPERS but finally came through and am submitting for the first time to the board. I have been hacking away at this thing for over 2 years now. Anybody tells someone you can't do something, it makes you want to work so much harder to prove them wrong. Never give up. Good luck to everybody else who's applying. Hope to see everyone in the fleet.

My recruiter told me that Intelligence Boards were not meeting until January 2010. Is this true? Is it because I'm a BDCP applicant?

I applied back in early June and found out in August that I did not get selected for IW and I won't hear back about Oceanography or Intel until Feb. Does this sound like BS? I'll almost be finished school by then!

Change your package to be DA and not BDCP if that's close to when you're graduating.

I inquired about whether the board met and an officer recruiter(not my specific OR) said that the board met on the 15 as planned. It's not 100% but I'm crossing my fingers:grumpy_12

Like I said in my previous post, I heard this from a recruiter in the office that had asked the OR so, it seems like the info on 24Sep09 seems correct. Hopefully it won't take them forever to post the results.

Don't want to stir up the rumor mill, but I read over on usnavyocs.com that the September boards did not meet on the 24th and are, in fact, meeting sometime in October.

Anyone else getting royally pissed at this point in the game?

Sorry, let me clarify... the swo/sna/nfo boards are not meeting until October. That site did not say anything about any other community.

Frustration

I certainly feel the frustration at this point. I guess we should go ahead and post in the october boards forum. Sure leaves me with more questions than answers... I wonder if they will select more candidates than normal for one month, and if they are going to see twice the number of applications, or are those that were getting an october board now going to be pushed to november. At this point I will definately need to have my PRD of october 30th pushed to the right some while waiting for results.
