Just drive man... take 10 across into Texas then cut north. Or something. You won't have to worry about weather as much that way.

What are you going to do when you are stationed in some snowy place and you have to drive to work?

Yeah, try living in a backwards town in Maine that doesn't plow well, or your road isn't a priority. Driving in the snow isn't that bad.

Hey shotcall10, I have a 2001 Saturn. I'll be making the drive in July, so the snow really isn't going to be a problem. There's been some good advice here though, just take it slow, do not rush, and give yourself plenty of time. And, y'know, MasterBates gives some good advice too...

Yea I totally understand what you guys are saying but the only snow driving I've done in California is when I used to make it out to Lake Tahoe for snowboarding and we had to put on snow chains... and even that, it was when I used to have a Honda Accord... now I have a Honda S2000 and it's rear wheel drive, soft top, with barely any room inside my "cockpit" to fit my 5'11" frame... so cut me some slack =) Damn... after all this complaining, I'll probably end up driving anyway =P Thanks guys for all your input.

Bro, your coming from California, I'm coming from Seattle. I promise my Camaro in much harder to control in the snow than your S2000. Don't be a pansy, I'll meet you there. You take the Southern route, I'll take the Northern route..

As of now, I'm set for Feb 2nd, but am in the process of getting it moved back a couple weeks, possibly even a month due to a shin splint recovery. So, it is very possible I will be starting Feb 26th with you. I'll let you know when I find out.
