I graduated on Dec 21st and drove down to Florida...it wasn't horrible, but the weather was gracious.

The worst thing about driving in the northeast (or being in the northeast in general) during winter is that the sun "sets" (i.e. isn't behind the wall of gray overcast clouds) at about 1600.

Just got word today from my recruiter that they have scheduled me for a Feb. 16th start date. I still don't have my final select letter but he told me my date is there. I'm coming from Oshkosh. Did you guys know your start date before you got your letter? I thought giving me a date would be the last thing. In any case I hope it sticks and I get to see Ken, Shotcalla, and the rest of you in the wonderfulness that is the Northeast in February!

I just got the same news you did Badger from my recruiter sans-official letter. So I will be joining you guys Feb. 16th from Houston.

Shotcalla/Anyone else, I am pretty sure I'm gonna drive - so if you decide to fly there, you can store anything you might need in my car.

Oddly enough, my roommate in college of 3 years was from Wauwatosa, WI...but he was more of the German speaking/birkenstock wearing/guitar playing/DMB listening type guy...but then again - that was a lot of people in college :icon_tong
