To be honest it doesn't matter. You can't really prepare for it...it's kind of one of those things where you just have to shut your brain off and go. It VERY quickly stops being about how long is this session going to last and starts being about how long is this particular exercise going to last...you will scream as loud as you can and push yourself as hard as you can just to get one EXERCISE to stop. You really start taking things one thing at a time.
I would say the average RPT session only lasts about 10-15 minutes. Typical morning PT lasts between 30-50 minutes. Every now and then, but not that often, you will probably get RPTd for 30+ minutes, you might even go over the hour mark a few times. You will remember those days...
Just use your trash can and then dry it out. Ice is critical for just about everyone at one time during OCS.
And to answer your question Jackass, there is no average beating so there is never an average time, I had a few that were one pushup... then ones that seemed like hours.
Yes you will. You will also remember your roommate who missed out on the two worst beatings of 12 weeks of OCS.
Two of the few times we ever had a beating that lasted an hour or longer, I came back to my space for the 2 minutes to put the rifle away (damn evil thing!) and get changed or whatever before heading back out for more hell, only to see my roommate laying on his rack, passed out.
The two worst beatings we had at OCS, my roommate was SIQ.
I rolled in looking like a pile of sopping-wet protoplasm, and he is rolling around in his rack looking fresh as a daisy. I hated him those two days... :icon_rage

Look I know you haven't been there and it's hard to know the specifics but what gives you the impression that ANY reg is relaxed at OCS.Jackass said:
