Will going to a therapist before OCS be an issue? Also, for aviation is it a good idea to get our vision tested before going to OCS.
Get notes from your visits. You will need to turn those in to NAMI for support documentation and it can become a huge hassle. The sooner you get them to NAMI, the less time you’ll spend in student pool.

Got it I will do this ASAP I talk to my recruiter and he said it shouldn’t be a problem and I only went to talk about relationship advice it was nothing serious. However, knowing this I definitely regretted it since the therapy session ended up being useless lol. Hopefully this won’t backfire on me.

It shouldn’t, but my buddy got stuck in student pool because they wanted his therapy session notes. He submitted them later but it still took a while for them to clear him.

You only know it ended up being useless because you went, it could have also ended up being useful, I am glad it turned out it wasn't really needed and hopefully the doc that reviews the notes feels the same way.

Sometimes just talking with a trusted friend can help to.

Hey guys, I have a GPA question that i think i’ve answered with reading some other posts but I want to confirm. I have college credit from 4 different colleges. I currently have a low gpa at my current program since i have only taken 2 courses with 1 B and C. If factor in all the transfer credit I will be over 3.0 gpa. Does the navy evaluate my gpa based on the schools final gpa without factoring all the transfer grades or does it calculate a full gpa with all of my grades from every college? Thanks.

I believe they will calulate your total GPA from all courses attempted during undergrad.

They will calculate GPA based on all classes taken. Just be prepared to explain why your current program GPA is low and you should be good to go.

The designator will affect how this is looked at.

All colleges attended are averaged into one.

Anybody need a pair of Belleville 800STs in a 6.5 regular? I put a few miles on them, trying them out and decided to go a half size smaller, unfortunately I can’t return to Amazon now. I’m going to OCS this July, so may or may not be able to respond immediately. I’ll give a good deal on them since they will just be sitting until they find a home. 805-797-5470

Hey, I've been really debating on what to do and would really like to hear feedback.

I am pretty far in the application process for USMC OTS with the first selection board being this fall, but I've been second guessing my decision. I want to be a Marine for many reasons, but I want to fly in the Navy.

I am currently a junior in college, my end goal is to become qualified for test pilot school and get my Masters in Aerospace Engineering.

Should I talk about this with my recruiter?
