Thanks! Joined back in 2013 when I first started applying for STA-21 Pilot program (they only selected 1-3 people each year), my chances were super low with my ASTB scores. Glad I never gave up and kept going to college for a chance in OCS.
That’s true an awesome story! Glad to see they picked you up.

I've been watching this board from the start but this is my first time actually commenting anything, so hi everyone! According to the list that was shared yesterday I was PROREC Y and have an OCS date set for 28 March, but my recruiter has said he hasn't heard anything yet. Does anyone know why this might be?

You add yourself to the google doc? Congrats on the pick up though!

I am AD and my command didn't have results today but I called the recruiter that I took my OAR with and they confirmed my PROREC Y today from the same list that was posted yesterday on here
Weird, I guess I'll just keep up the "hurry up and wait" until my recruiter officially tells me I've been picked up.

your OAR will allow you to reapply but the board really doesn't care about OAR, I am also surprised you were a No, did you have any waivers? I had a candidate with similar scores that was denied the first time, due to the relationships I had built and NRC I called and on the phone they were surprised she wasn't picked up, so much so they moved her to the next board and didn't require anything to be redone, not even a reconsideration letter, and then she was picked up.
Board doesn't really care about OAR?
are u referring to the SWO or all boards. I submitted my packet back in 2017 for SUPPO and to my agony I wasn't selected. I thought that might be due to the 43 OAR I had
now am trying for SWO

How exNavyOffRec says "OAR is just your ticket to the board", am I right? @exNavyOffRec

This is true, I was worried about my OAR as I had a 41 and you need a 40 or above to apply for SWO. I thought that I would not be competitive but because I had a good GPA and Masters. It would be overlooked. I also had real work experience where I was put in leadership situations at Nestle.
