I was notified by my CO on the Admirals Bridge PRO REC- Y. Command is releasing me ASAP....first female seat available in September though. CONGRATS to ALL SELECTED!!!!!

My skipper said that was the earliest. There are only 20 seats for females each class.

Ah such a nice, slow trickle between this and the aviation board. A couple civilians have heard. Fingers crossed everybody starts receiving the news they want tomorrow! It's starting to appear the results should all be out by end of week

My skipper said that was the earliest. There are only 20 seats for females each class.

That's weird because when I was looking at the list yesterday, there were may june and july spots open for females. Guess those filled quickly.

I think it may be because she is active duty. If you look at previous boards like the SWO board in November, active duty get placed in later OCS classes and civilians got put in earlier ones. From the November board, most active duty leave in July whereas the civilians leave in March. Thats just from what I have been seeing posted on that thread.

Yep, overwhelming majority is civs. Not too many AD. Someone said it early on in this thread

goes back to the fact that many have been told that there are no more SWO quotas left for this year. So those female seats are for the various other designators
