Does anyone with a working knowledge of this issue have any insight as to what will actually happen to them? I assume andrews7 is right, we can't hold/detain them forever. What kind of jurisdiction do we have (if any)?

They're probably there for securtiy...MAHAN is a DDG if I remember, and VELLA GULF is a CG. Something tells me the MSC guys aren't (and probably don't want) to be responsible for watching these creeps.
CTF 151 (the counterpiracy task force) is dropping pirates off in Kenya...Kenya being willing to prosecute pirates is a big reason we can actually do these operations, gives us a way to dispose of them once we've actually caught them.
Maybe they will accidently fall out of the helo during the pax transfer...

2 Questions...
1st-Is this guy operating one of those focused beam sound thingies that makes yer head hurt? Or is it just a light?
2nd-Why is the guy manning the gun wearing a Kevlar and flak jacket and the rest of the squids in coveralls? PPE isn't for everyone?
