If the outcome is anything with a B you are redisgnated as a 130X which is not considered a career path and ergo not eligible for promotion.
Didn't know that. Makes sense.

Not to sound ignorant, but I'm not familiar with adhsb. I assume "active duty _______ selection board" Can someone fill me in?
Do LDOs still get automatically promoted on the E side? It used to be that if he wasn't already there, an LDO O1 got E7, an O2 got E8 and and O3 got E9. It was a real problem for a while because they would pick up LDO as an E6 or new E7, 4 years latter pin on O3, get pissed at being an officer or just not like it, and revert to enlisted. Poof! Instant Master Chief and never worrying about things like evals again while being treated well. I think the solution was that they had to give up the ability to revert when they accepted O3, but I believe they still received the E9 promotion in case they did not serve long enough to retire as an officer. The retirement pay for O3Es and E9s are within a couple hundred bucks per month of each other.the LDO has to retire as an "E", but gets high-3 retirement pay
I'm confused... did the 1305 get invol sep'd or did he take the 90K? And I'm assuming he's a LT? If he's an O4, that's gonna start worrying me big time.Yeah, they offered the 1305 something like 90k. A bargain for the gov't vs. retirement + benefits...

don't know what the nugget is being offered...
all aviator jo's should take a hard look at the adhsb results...
My point is to JO's is that timing determines 90% of your success, the other 10% is luck...
enough soapboxing, see ya'll at the VFW....
Somehow I forgot what that "5" meant. I'll be leaving now, so I don't say anything else embarrassing. The 1305 (LT) gets nada, b/c he is in an unaugmented status.
