The min ASTB scores for pilot in the Navy is a 4/5. But for pilot in the marines I think is a 4/6. So he may have to retake the exam if he is going marines.

It says 4/6 but that it can change at any time.I wouldn't think they would be different. The Marines use the Navy's standards when evaluating a flight candidate after commissioning and reporting to API, to my knowledge. Before commissioning is a different story. I would know because the OSO's office I talked to wanted to know everything about me, and the OSO didn't know the availability of air contracts at the time.

My plan is to submit my package for the July board(June 19th deadline) by the 31st of May, at that time I will have a complete package.
If my package is submitted at the end of May, will it be considered for the June board?
