Rolling Boards/ June 2013 Board

Just more paperwork to get it approved. As far as I know my packet has been submitted to NRC, but still need to even get a date.

I hope you get it taken care of soon, man. I'm sure it'll happen within the next couple of weeks. I know it felt like forever for me, though.

What's wrong with MEPS? You can still submit w/o MEPS

While that is technically true for now, I'm thinking ORs are gonna start deviating from this mentality. NRD Ohio definitely is at least. They wanna make sure applicants are PQ prior to submission, either for the sake of fingerprints expiring or to get credit for the applicant regardless of PRO-Y.

Thanks man. I'll just do what I can as best as I can.

Ya I mean it makes sense. I got PQ'd before submission. Just waiting for a board.

NRD St. Louis is doing the same. They required both finger prints and a PQ from MEPS before allowing submission to NRC.

I honestly think they should. Why waste a spot for someone who may not be PQ'd for active duty? Just my 2 cents. But anyways Riser I hope it all works out and you make the board.

So just to be clear, you don't need MEPS results by the time you submit your package? Also, are there rolling boards for Pilot/NFO? My recruiter has been out for surgery and I've kinda been left waiting. The July package has to be submitted but June, 12 and I don't think I'll make my MEPS schedule and get results back in time to submit my package by then. He hasn't said anything about being able to submit my package w/o MEPS completed. Unfortunately the Texas recruiting website has also been down for the last few weeks . Go figure! I do see your point Mr Spenz though. Even if I don't need to be PQ'd yet, it certainly doesn't help my package without that. Anyway, any clarity would help! Thanks ahead of time!

I've heard about rolling boards on AW, but have heard otherwise everywhere else (San Francisco NRD, my recruiter, other applicants, etc..).

Also, my recruiter wanted me at MEPS asap (before package was submitted). Most likely for reasons arianjalali mentioned ^^^^^

Ya...read that. But that seems like heresay. Anyone know of anything? I mean, obviously I'm trying to get everything done by the date but I'm just nervous about missing this July board because of the age cutoff. I guess I'll just keep doing it as quickly as possible but as you all probably know and as I've described, that isn't as quickly as I'd like to get the ball rolling.

you can submit your kit without the PQ letter from MEPS.. as navyoffrec has mentioned, the board doesn't actually view your physical results; however, the decision to submit without a physical is made at the discretion of your recruiter/processor. fingers crossed for you to get your kit submitted by the 19th!

also, i definitely feel your pain. my OR had galbladder surgery awhile back.. longest 10 days of my life.

True that. I think this will actually be the first board that is "competitive" and doesnt accept "almost everyone"

Ha just goes to show you.....streamers don't mean shit hahaha, it all depends on your class team what kind of privileges you get.

My gosh, phones in week 3?? We didn't have a chance at phones until Candio. Our sister company didn't get off grab and go until after winning drill comp. Guess everybody should wish to get Mayo's DI haha.

What makes you say this?

They had a March board and a Rolling board that had high selection rates. So I don't see it continuing into the July board cause of the high select percentage. This is personal opinion. Unless you hear of something else.
