Sorry for jumping in late...From my OR, “To reiterate from our conversation, we are not awaiting final selection, you ARE selected. We are awaiting final documents. They are just referred to as final selection documents.”
So it sounds like the FINSEL process has already been completed for our group?
What does the FinSEL paperwork consist of?Sorry for jumping in late...
Yeah there's a weird misconception that you're not officially selected unless you receive orders and that's not really the reality of the situation and how the selection process works.
The ProRec-Y has a stigma about it not being 100% official until you receive that final selection paperwork. But realistically, we are selected and that's official, we're just waiting for the paperwork to come through that get's us military orders to ship to OCS.
The FINSEL paperwork process isn't complete, we're in that process now. It's just that there is not an additional selection process like the name (FinSel) seems to imply.
That is three of us now that this incredible surprise has happened to. Congrats!Hey gents, this thread is way too deep to burry through. Anyone have eyes on the selection list, or class date list. I was originally told by cnrc and my chain of command that my package would not make board due to timelines. How ever, yesterday I received a call from same chain of command commending me for my selection. Any Links, screenshots, or PMs would be great.
Specifically, I'm not 100% sure, I've had this type of paperwork as an enlisted person before so it's probably similar. It's called final selection paperwork and probably has your designator and a bunch of other stuff on it, should come with your orders. It's probably very similar to the enlistment paperwork which had basically a rehash of your application plus some medical stuff like your medical questionnaire and medical history and will most likely include your service commitment and signatures and stuff. What does the FinSEL paperwork consist of?
Thank you! and congrats on your selection, hopefully ill see you in the fleet someday depending on how crazy this January board is!Specifically, I'm not 100% sure, I've had this type of paperwork as an enlisted person before so it's probably similar. It's like saying to the Navy: "Here I am, here's my medical history, here's what I'm signed up for and for how long, here are my orders".
NRC Intranet.Hello, I just found this forum yesterday and am wondering where all the AD guys command's are getting pro rec information from. I asked my command today, they checked BOL and said the results weren't out yet.

the AW spreadsheet is not the full list of applicants, at board list on page 26 shows like 230. In comparison, AW spreadsheet has around 70 entries. Also probably can't project the same acceptance rate on AW list to the list as a whole. So to clarify, this board has a high selection rate? 74.14? Damn guess us with lower scores got lucky.
I know our spreadsheet is just us, but I thought the 74.14% was for the entire board, and our spreadsheet is like 80% or something.
