OCS 03Nov2023 SNA/SNFO Board

Anyone have any insight as to when results will be released?
Optimistically...MAYBE...21DEC or 22DEC. Only because of the roughly same number of applicants on this board as the last one. The board took 18 days to release results last time, so do the math and it brings you to roughly those dates. However, it is getting real close to the holidays, so more realistically either the week of Christmas (unlikely because I am willing to bet most of the NRC is on leave) or after the new year. But this is just a guess on my part.

PFAR: 7
PFOAR: 7

What are my chances of getting selected for SNA? I'm only 1 point behind in AQR and .07 points behind in GPA for Auto-select if what I'm reading above is correct?

Are you on this sna board? If not then you should try to retake the test again for a higher score if you have the time and availability.

I had that exact score for the OCT2022 board when they only selected like 10 SNAs. I retook after not getting selected and got a 54 7/8/7 and got selected on the July/Aug board SNA. But based on the last board results you have a shot

Yes I’m on the Dec 4th board. My recruiter didn’t stroke my ego but also didn’t tell me I need to retake it. Kind of in limbo about how to feel or expect.

Based off of the last bored then there is a good chance for you to be picked up if this board follows the same selection rate. We have similar scores the only difference is my Oar is higher and my recruiter recommended to just see how this board turns how because she felt it was a 50/50 being picked up with a 7 PFAR after looking at the quota and scores but to keep on studying as if I wasn’t going to get picked up and retake for a 8 or 9 PFAR for the next board.

Do you know what the quota is by chance? The low number of applicants gives me hope for this board, but that all just depends on how many billets they decide to hand out.

I do not sorry, she showed me everything back on October 16th when I took my first test and started getting my packet together. Looking at the data for this board it does seem the scores are slightly higher compared to previous board but the scores posted on here are only around 1/4 of the total applicants at board so you could maybe assume the other applicants have similar scores and go from there but there is really no way to see it as a whole without knowing everyone’s score to see where you stand score wise and then how many billet slots there is for this board.

Ok, no worries. I think it will just come down to the number of billets they handed out yesterday. If it is similar to the last board (which was the average before the great backlog of 2022/early 2023) then most people will have a good shot given the lower number of overall applicants.
