You need to go in to sign your contract, take the oath, give them fingerprints if your fingerprints from MEPS are expired, and set up direct deposit information. I believe you also need to get things set up for your insurance.

Little late but to those of you that got thrown in a July OCS class, I know I’m stating the obvious but don’t get complacent. That’s plenty of time for you to prepare but also plenty of time to grow lazy. OCS in January isn’t fun but I’m sure it’s not any more fun in July. Start prepping, reading appendixes and priming your brain for that lifestyle. Also get your personal ducks in a row so you aren’t begging your class team for phone access so you can handle financials or whatever else. Best of luck.

Worked with my recruiter and got a spot in the 10/6 OCS class! I’ll see you fine folks in Newport.
Right around the corner, best of luck! Maybe I’ll see you at some point since I’m Nov 3rd

How long did it take for you to hear back. I’m working with my recruiter now to get an earlier class date.

My recruiter already knew I was trying to go asap since I had originally applied ISEL back in July so he immediately started working on getting me into an earlier class. We got the board results last Friday and he let me know they found a spot yesterday around 4:45 PM EST.

My recruiter knew I was trying to go asap too and put that on my application, kind of upsetting I got a late date but she has been working on getting me a sooner class date since Monday. I’m just trying to see if I’ll get answer soon. I really want to go October and my recruiter said that I have all the stuff done so I can go quickly. Just waiting on if they’ll give me that class.

That was my same situation. I had a note in my kit saying I want to go asap and they still originally gave me DEC 1st haha I doubt the board even looks at those notes. Fingers crossed for you, it’s not too late. Worst case you’ll totally be able to get 11/3.

11/3 is definitely better than 01/5. My recruiter put 10/6, 11/3, and 12/1 on the request. Hopefully 11/3 or sooner I’m ready to get started 😂
