Figure out a way to relax that is key man. Drink water and bring snacks. I would take advantage of the break between oar and the astb section. Even if you don’t have to use the bathroom just get up and walk around.

I have been using the ASTB prep app with my X52 just fine for about 2.5 months. I want to start using the Jantzen as well just to practice both, but Jantzen doesn't detect my X52 even though the app detects it perfectly fine. Anyone else have this issue or know the fix? Id greatly appreciate it.

Also I am using a MacBook.

Can you send me the link for the X52 you use? And also how do you study for the ejection part of the test? Also is the X52 what's used on the test?

I got my X52 off of eBay, you can find it on the Logitech store but I recommend buying a used one. eBay or marketplace for sure.

The emergency procedures are on both the Jantzen sim and the ASTB Prep app. If you don’t have the ASTB prep app yet I highly recommend it.

And yes, they use the X52, the place I took the test didn’t use the exact same model. But it was still an X52 regardless.

Question, do you get a few practice runs before you start doing all of the joystick testing? Or do you just jump straight into the testing without being able to get used to the simulator?

Yes the test breaks it dowm
into individual controls at first and gives you a practice session before each test session. Finally it all culminates together where you are using the
stick and throttle and the dichroic listening.

For those that have gone to meps, what else did you bring other than your driver's license and social security card? Also, how soon after taking the ASTB will you know if you score? Thanks.
