What are my chances with a 3.21 BA in CS (done calc but no physics) and 54 OAR? Applying for CW
Your GPA is below the average and you don't have physics, I would look at other options. When it comes to designators like IP, MCWO, and CW "preferred" nearly always means "required".

Can you apply for BDCP while enrolled part-time for your last semester?

I was planning on applying for BDCP this December. I have one year left of undergrad before graduating in May. For my last semester this spring I only need two courses (8 Credits) to graduate making that semester part-time. Does that disqualify me for BDCP?

I've been a full-time student for every semester leading up to spring 2025 and am only part-time in my last semester because I've already completed the rest of my degree. I've heard similar cases for international students on visas who are required to be enrolled full-time unless it's their last semester before graduating. Is there a similar rule here?

you must be full time for all semesters that you are receiving BDCP benefits (according to my recruiter)

Hey guys I have a question about OCS, I have a 3.8 gpa, and im going to get my cyber security degree to become a cryptologic warfare officer. I'm applying to join the BDCP program. With a gpa like that and that degree, whats the lowest I can score on the OAR to be competitive for CWO?

Just don't be low enough to need a waiver, your GPA is great.

No need to post the same question in multiple threads. It's still too early to tell as BDCP is still "new-ish" for the IWC folks, your best bet would be to check out the various IWC threads and see if you can track/trend those who have been selected.

What are the best sources that you guys used to study for the OAR? I'm taking the OAR soon for the BDCP. I'm trying to find different sources, does anyone recommend any sites, or books that really helped them prepare and perform well on the OAR?

Brother….there is a whole threat dedicated to the OAR/ASTB. No offense, but I have been seeing your posts and you are asking for a lot of handholding for someone who wants to become a Naval officer.

Hello friends! I’m applying for SNA BDCP at whatever board they start allowing us to apply again. I submitted my package before this current semester ended, and I improved my GPA from a 3.4 to 3.46. Is it worth the hassle to try to update my transcripts in my application? My ASTB is a 55 6/8/7. My recruiter is currently on leave so I’m asking you guys on here. Please let me know, thanks.

I’m not a recruiter but if someone came up to me and said they had a 3.4 and then it turns out it was actually a 3.46 it wouldn’t make a difference to me. You have a 8 pfar which is what matters most.

That’s what I was thinking, thanks for the reply.
