If you are just getting started with everything (haven't gone to MEPS, haven't done any paper work, haven't taken the ASTB, haven't found out about any potential waivers, etc.) then the whole process might take a year depending, but the board spreadsheets seem to indicate that the average time to hear back about results after a board convenes is 2 weeks; my recruiter also gave me such an estimate as to when I'd hear back for this September 15 board--towards the end of September. I'd try to go for I-Select too if you haven't considered that option yet! It's by far the fastest and easiest route if you qualify.Hey guys! I’m hopefully putting my package in for this upcoming board. I’m applying for SNA/ NFO. I just talked to my recruiter though and he said to give me a heads up everything is super backed up which I’d heard before. But he said it could be up to a year before I hear back. I assumed that meant if I apply and get selected it could be a year before going to OCS. But now that I’ve thought about it more I’m unsure if he means hear back about getting selected or not. It shouldn’t take a year to hear about getting selected or not right? Sorry I would just ask him to confirm but he is a very slow responder haha. Thanks!!
