Maybe that's why I was thinking 10/8 for sna/nfo. Takes 2 years to get winged then you start your 8/6 years.

I played baseball right across the street from the naval reserves base next to MCO and we would sometimes see launches from the field during games. Of course we also had planes flying just a few hundred feet overhead on the way to runway every couple minutes during our games. Combine that with traveling the world with missionary parents and my love for aviation starts to make sense haha
