join the marines lol
Right after I got the ball rolling with the Navy recruiter I spoke with the Marines recruiter and he wasn't interested at all. He said my age wasn't a problem if indeed I did as many pullups and got the ASTB score that I claimed but he sounded annoyed that I was already talking to a Navy recruiter.

By the way, what are y'alls plan Bs if it doesn't work out

My backup is to go for SWO or nuke. My OR already mentioned if I wanted to go Nuke and want to ship out soon (like in the next 2 weeks) I can enlist and basically get a commission after A school. Granted I meet the requirements after A school.

Working as civ for almost 4 years, I realized this isn't for me and I regret not trying to apply to NROTC programs for college or even the attempt to get accepted to Annapolis. I was set on being a pilot so I went this route but now I just want to be in the Navy so whatever I can get, I will take.

What made you decide to pull the trigger after 4 years? Just had enough or something specific?
