In-laws are from Ohio, pretty desolate where they live. Farms and meth, that's about it. And ALL of the racism, see things everywhere when we go to visit. He family has live there for years and tolerated it (they're an interracial family). Don't understand it, but when there are more people than teeth in a town, that seems to be an issue...

But I love Washington. Spent a lotta time out there. If you’re over the gray just go out to eastern Washington - plenty of sun out east of the Cascades

That's definitely one of the nice parts about living here. Have family out in Coeur d'Alene, so I make the drive pretty frequently.

California is the best and worst state. It has beach, mountains, deserts, Yosemite, outdoorsman’s playground. But it’s dang expensive, traffic sucks, and has a lot of crazy people ?

I never in my entire life want to be stationed here in California until the cost of living changes. Once the Salton Sea dries up and this place turns into a dustbowl then maybe haha.
