I was a CPO :D
You know the other night when I said I find it bizarre that enlisted sailors did officer recruiting? It was not a slight against them. I’d find it strange if officers did enlisted recruiting as well.

You must have enjoyed it though if you still advise applicants in your free time.

Officers don't really do enlisted recruiting, they would be in charge of enlisted recruiting.

about half of OR's are (were) typically OR's, an officers tour would be 2 years in most cases, it takes about 6 months to figure out what you are doing, so it isn't uncommon for officer OR's to start with a candidate and then pass them off, CPO's generally provide continuity to officer recruiting.

they did change things years ago and I know some in officer recruiting from processors on up that have said the changes made things a mess and that they are trying to slowly fix things. Many of the changes were instituted because NC's were doing the wrong thing way too often and needed adult supervision.

So do they not pass you off anymore, or should I expect to get passed to someone else

There have been a few times when deadlines have passed and results still weren't sent out, the board had been held just NRC was taking there time.
So would you say it’s more likely for results to come out before the deadline for the next board or after? Does it happen often that the results come out after the deadline for the next board?

Recruiter said end of June but it has to be out before the deadline for the next board
It doesn't
I think you will be extremely lucky to get a date with official results if you're SNA. A lot of SNAs from January board are just now getting Nov 7 OCS dates.

If the Jan board is just now getting SNA dates, ~5 months after, I feel like we should be mentally preparing to wait until September for the same, no? Hopefully results come soon, but who knows with OCS dates.

Also, good morning. Say it back
