If the Jan board is just now getting SNA dates, ~5 months after, I feel like we should be mentally preparing to wait until September for the same, no? Hopefully results come soon, but who knows with OCS dates.

I think the hard part after getting picked is not getting injured before your date....I'm afraid of putting eggs on hot oil due to the possibility of said hot oil jumping out and hitting both me eyes at once, thus ruining my potential piloting extravaganza.....these are real world problems ppl

I think results will be sooner, but they may not have OCS dates with them if what happened with the Jan board continues. I'm just speculating though.

Remember that OCS has just recently gone back up to full class sizes and the ROM requirement is about to lift... That bodes well for us coming out of the COVID situation. I honestly think the "FY22" thing is just so they can figure things out, we aren't gonna have to wait as long for dates as the true mid COVID selects.

There was a big blockage in the SNA pipeline and a little one in the NFO pipline when the pandemic started, but it's starting to get better - my buddy who selected for NFO in January was told he would ship in late august or early september. They were ready for him in early May.

Senior Chief. Im sure there's an officer overlooking it all somewhere, but I've never met them. Hopefully the official results come in soon. This weird unofficial/weird OCS date listed is killing me.

You probably should have been in OCS already and currently are AWL, and they be getting the MAs ready to pick you up to take you to Leavenworth

So would you say it’s more likely for results to come out before the deadline for the next board or after? Does it happen often that the results come out after the deadline for the next board?

absolutely more likely before, it is a rarity when they are released after the next board due date, but it has happened.

It's comforting to know if we don't get pro-rec Y, we may actually be told why. Therefore, what to improve on to resubmit...
