Hello all! Figured I would post my stats. I'm a little late to the game, but I'll be submitting my package today once I sign my eval and get my final medical paperwork (hopefully).

9.5 yrs enlisted
Age 28
51 6/6/5 for SNA
3.38 GPA in General Studies
Active Duty, Navy E6 (AT1)
100 flight hours as a backseat troubleshooter and FCF crewman

This thread is crazy lol

Also

Appraisals from O6/O6/O5/O5/O4
LORs from O7/O5/O4

^^ not sure if this matters. I've just seen others post it in other threads

I would study a little bit between now and whenever the board results come out, your scores are the minimum and that means a low chance of selection, so studying to be prepared for a retest will set you up for a quick resubmit if you don't have a positive result.

Agreed. That was my second attempt with the ASTB. Your advice is appreciated. Figured I’d shoot my shot anyways, but if all else fails I know what to do. Doing a third attempt just gives me the heebie jeebies

Quick question.. My recruiter informed me that a rejected package requires improvements for the next board like higher test scores or some flight hours. Can anyone confirm? I ask so that I can start budgeting just in case I need to pour some money into flying. I'm happy with my test scores and won't be making the dreaded third attempt at a better score.

Well, y'all, it looks like I'll be joining you on this board. After thinking I was in the Oct/Nov board and eagerly waiting for results my OR called yesterday to tell me my package was rolled to the Jan board even before the Oct/Nov board. The wait is going to be the death of me! haha

Rejected meaning your application was at the board, and was given a ProRec-N... Yes you'll need to change something, retest etc. If not you'll have to wait 6 months to reapply.

If you're rolled to a new board (meaning you weren't seen for the board you expected), you're just seen by the next board with no changes needed.

So in terms of the wait there is only 46 days until the board (25 Jan). Then, if we want to use current trend to estimate our results date of around 89 days given results are usually on a Tuesday. We have a grand total of 89 days (9 Mar).

Ohhhhhh and if you want to follow the mood of the forum...All hope is lost lol

Happy pessimism all!!!!

what were your scores? from what other people have posted here, the Navy doesn't really care about civilian flight experience. this is different from Air Force, which takes that into account. Just something to keep in mind before making the time/monetary investment.

I think you were responding to my post. I received a 52 7/9/8 on my last test. We just aren't sure where to improve my package if it is kicked back. Volunteer hours, civilian flight experience, etc.
