your 7 for PFAR isn't bad, but when it comes to aviation it is about scores, if you were going for Supply then the extra stuff might hold weight, depending on how competitive the next board is will really play into your chances.
 
Last boards results show that at least 5-6 people got picked up with minimum scores and another handful with just above. Boards before had similar results and the one before that...No way to quantify how the selection is going to go. What we do know is that we are the last board for the FY. With all the confusion OR's refused to submit candidates scores. My processor told me that he put in half of the applications he usually does. Now how widespread that is, I do not know.

Hard deadline is today and most NRC's had to submit yesterday. Now for those that submitted is to just wait a small 45 days.

Now might be the best time to go over Bravo and assume selection. Or start studying for a retest if you are not confident. Either way take the initiative and better yourself. Nobody can predict your selection.

same here....study in case of retest (Not you @KaleDaSquid you got like max scores already), study for OCS, and for the love of god start running.....build up to 3-4 miles...better to get there being a rockstar already
 
Is there a solid forum for Navy OCS study material? I attended 9 weeks of Marine Corps OCS before getting injured. It seems like a good amount of basic information is the same, but I'm not sure where to start with anything past that. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes work on your fitness. You should already, if not really challenge yourself. Do yourself the favor. Also, the knowledge for the most part will not change. If you are dead-set on the Navy/Corp. All things you will need to know. Plus, nobody want to be the one that is not prepared. Sounds like a moral issue in the making for you and your shipmates. Look for prior boards and most post "Bravo knowledge study guides" @reed1327 I think this answers most of your question. Get as much info as you can. Familiarize yourself with customs and courtesies. So be ready to refer to yourself in the 3rd person.

next board's supposed to be in May25th I think....with a deadline of April 9....so yeah is a bit of a longer wait....the good thing is that in case one does not get selected, should give enough time to retest and reapply....I mean no fucking way we do not know the results by April
 
Celiac's is also disqualifying...until you're already in aviation and then they're just "oh, well make sure to avoid gluten, here's your upchit". Wonder what other random stuff is disqualifying...

So do OR's submit any details about the applicant? I was wondering, whats to stop someone who might have the scores to make it. Just not the people skills or drive...
