1. Speculation does nothing but ruffle everyone’s nerves
2. People respectfully asked to not speculate and bring this up before
3. People aren’t pissy if they’re requesting to not do something.
Don’t say people are name calling when they aren’t. ?

Also asking a hypothetical about ispp and slots isn’t asking about total number of slots. People can talk about whatever they want on a public forum. You really gonna try and police that?

The problem is no one really knows. It’s been a discussed topic before and again no one really knew. But, for the sake of answering your question, according to the instruction it appears they do take but from the overall number of selects available. When that number is met, they are able to request more slots to fulfill the ISPP applicant pool as necessary.

To quell everyone's hot heads at the moment:

Per the program authorization, ISPP is completely separate of any civilian slots. The program is designed to accept any AD applicant that is fully qualified. If there are more slots needed for ISPP specifically, CNRC requests the additional quotas for ISPP only.

Short answer - ISPP slots do not affect civilian slots.

the numbers on the dashboard reflect NRC goals, ISPP applicants are active duty so they do not count since they are already in the Navy. All the numbers posted here I've found to be BS so it's best not to worry or even consider these numbers
Thanks for answering the question lol. Appreciate it

let’s take a chill pill folks. We’re all on edge since we’ve heard a lot of negative rumors. Try and do your best to think positive.
