Yeah they’re leaning away from higher TIS due to a hole of O4-O5s because most priors commission do their 10 years to qualify for officer retirement and retire. So they need people that will not do that, which is civilian and priors with less TIS. It’s not to say they won’t take us but they don’t want to if they can help it.I would be 34 maybe 35 at start of OCS assuming everything goes well. Also, 9.2 years TIS. Hoping this won't negatively affect any decision making.
