My issue is that I went through MEPS about 9 months ago and the want a physical within 90 days on being FS. They said something to do about flying planes. I totally understand. They do not want to waste their time and my time. The set back of a week and a half does set me back a bit unpleased. Ohh well I shell keep working out, getting in much better shape to enter OCS...... Failure is not an option!
Does anyone know about the 90 day medical rule?
I went to MEPS 18 months ago and my recruiter just said 2 years was the cut-off as long as my original MEPS was ok and I passed everyhting for the NAVY requirements for SNA and didnt have any surgery/hospitilizations in the meantime.
So I don't know what to tell you, I'm currently waiting for my Navy Physical Fit for service letter/sign off and FS. So I hope this is not a rule, at least my Processor and OR haven't said anything and went through all the trouble for getting my old MEPS physical released from the Marines and transferred to the Navy.
From my understanding on day 2 or 3 at OCS everyone has to redo a physical anyways and SNA's and a select few other desginator's have to do their indepth physical, so I don't see the reason for having to have a MEPS completed in the last 90 days unless you didnt have your depth perception/colorblindness tested (which most dont unless its needed at MEPS).
Who specifically told you this 90 day rule?
