Only if you and I have such a luck... If I recall efn bday is like right around the corner....

I got so freaking mad yesterday about the medical shit that my systolic BP was out there..... I measured soon after I relaxed and it was back to a lower more normal number. This morning it was all good 112/72...... I need to relax or I am going to die..... LOL!

I'm still here guys. I leave Friday morning. Class starts 9/26. My bday is Dec 21st. 12 weeks puts grad date Fri Dec 18th. 3 days shy! :)

Wow, good luck, please post again when you get a chance. Do you just have a very motivated recruiter or did you request to be sent asap? Either way might as well get started right?

My recruiter called the "program manager" and worked out something. I'm a former Marine so I don't know shit about the internal operations of the Navy besides what I saw on the boat and when visiting the Docs.

I can only hope to get my medical BS cleared and class up with you.....! That would be freaking awesome, but that leaves like three days so I say it would be impossible.....

Dude, I need something like that but it needs to include my MEPS, LASIK and PRT :D

Good stuff either way. A nice birthday present to considering the timeframe.

Yeah, so now I have to do another medical. The problem is it sets me back 1.5 weeks. I cannot afford to loose another week. They are pushing it, they tell me (OR, processor). I believe them and I hope they are not blowing smoke up my arse. I do not have time to be wasted. All for NAVAL AVIATION. I really hope the outcome is a good one!

Just talked to the processor and didn't get the best news...

I was pro rec'd intel out of the july board...
Already have a clearance, prt done, and physical complete (no issues whatsoever).

I talked to the processor today and she said that my physical was uploaded (accepted) by the system on 16 Sept. She said it would be middle October (a month) before I hear anything from OOM (or, N3M -- aka Navy med). She said their backlog right now is a month.

Bottom line: the wait sucks and it isn't getting any short (at least for me). The chance of landing a November class is fading further and further away.

I hope you all have better luck than I do.

My issue is that I went through MEPS about 9 months ago and the want a physical within 90 days on being FS. They said something to do about flying planes. I totally understand. They do not want to waste their time and my time. The set back of a week and a half does set me back a bit unpleased. Ohh well I shell keep working out, getting in much better shape to enter OCS...... Failure is not an option!

Does anyone know about the 90 day medical rule?

Damn dude. Sorry to hear that. This doesn't bode well for us aviation dudes with that age thing hanging in the background.

Decent news is I might be getting a MEPS date this week... Key word is might.

Ray, I'll hit you up about that beer later on this week.

I really hope you get to do it this week, which NRD are you going through? What about the PRT? Get it done quick. I would love for both of use to be FS and class up soon.

I am not sure why they are making wait 1.5 weeks. They told me MEPS could not do it any earlier. I am fighting for it bro. I showing them that THIS is what I want.

Me too but I am falling on deaf ears again. I am going to hit up my NRD again in a few to see if they have anything positive.

I went to MEPS 18 months ago and my recruiter just said 2 years was the cut-off as long as my original MEPS was ok and I passed everyhting for the NAVY requirements for SNA and didnt have any surgery/hospitilizations in the meantime.

So I don't know what to tell you, I'm currently waiting for my Navy Physical Fit for service letter/sign off and FS. So I hope this is not a rule, at least my Processor and OR haven't said anything and went through all the trouble for getting my old MEPS physical released from the Marines and transferred to the Navy.

From my understanding on day 2 or 3 at OCS everyone has to redo a physical anyways and SNA's and a select few other desginator's have to do their indepth physical, so I don't see the reason for having to have a MEPS completed in the last 90 days unless you didnt have your depth perception/colorblindness tested (which most dont unless its needed at MEPS).

Who specifically told you this 90 day rule?

Everything you have said is correct. The OR/Processor did not know anything about this Rule either. Until OOM kicked it back for being too old. I am not sure if they are blowing smoke up my ass, but I certainly hope not. I did everything at MEPS. Let me know what you find out.

Don't forget your PRT is only good for 30 days. So if you take it now and don't ship for awhile you will have to take another.
