I do know a skid dude who took her to a Marine Bday Ball. No good stories to be had. It was a double date, and his wingman went full Great Santini. The night ended early.
It's interesting to me, when talking to my elderly parents, how many of their acquaintances are not getting vaccinated bc they are concerned about unknown long term consequences of the shot ?. I'm sure they all mainline FoxNews and/or Newsmax or OAN.

Hard to tell from the picture, but I see flesh tones through the holes. In all the products promoted (copper?!) and advisements from the government I don't recall any mention of carbon filters.
My hangar neighbor's 67ish brother got guillain barre from the J&J shot. You don't have to listen to ANY cable news program to be concerned about side affects. Just read the fine print. Didn't stop me. I am 64. But I don't begrudge any elderly person talking the decision very seriously.
Assholes, mask has a carbon filter so it’s still completely useless, especially riding in a car with immediate family like a virtue signaling dipshit.

I've been dragging my feet getting the Covid vaccine for no other reason than I'm pretty lazy but after I read a union email Monday night that my company was going to give pilots 13 hours of pay to get the vaccine by June 1st, sheeeeit, for roughly $2600 I had the shot by 10am the next morning.
Does that make a difference? Notable, but the crochet mask was not more or less effective a year ago. Masking up an entire family unit within a car was no less silly than 6 months or a year later.
Doesn't it? I don't have proof, but I am betting their masking approach evolved in the last 12 months.

No one in public health ever would have approved a crochet mask. If you check the recommendations and restrictions a year ago you will.find they exclude something like a crochet mask. AND, I hope her mask approach is different now. Given infection rates and vaccine availability I think an ineffective crochet mask would be no detriment to public health. ?
Her crocheted mask was about as useful as “approved” masks for the intended purpose of being a security blanket and signaling compliance. It wasn’t until much later that Fauci let us in on the secret of double masking.
