yea, i finished that in early may. i was under the impression that a board wouldn't give the pro-rec yes without a green light from MEPS, although that may have not been the case

Well my OR was originally trying to get me into MEPS before the board, but then at some point in late June/early July I called him and asked "hey, shouldn't we be scheduling for MEPS?" And at that point he told me that they were basically only giving appointments at that time to those who had already been pro rec'd. Maybe a result of sequestration, IDK.

From what I've heard in the news lately, some of the investigators are being investigated themselves for not doing interviews but signing them off... You may be among that group. I had an interview for SSI, which is lower than confidential.
