Is the minimum 2.5 for SNA and SNFO as well?
Yes, SWO is a bit lower

That means every SNA/SNFO that is PDQ'd for aviation, and goes SWO raises the IQ average of the entire SWO community. Our PDQs should be welcomed in SWOland with open arms, instead of sneered at and reviled!Yes, SWO is a bit lower
Hi do any of you know when applications are be due for the next IW/Intel board? I just took the ASTB and have most of my package put together. I'm trying to get an idea of how long I'll have to wait to figure out if I'm selected or not.
I'll be up for this one w/ SWO as my third choice behind aviation -- anyone know the validity to the rumors that they pretty much aren't looking at you for SWO unless it is choice #1?
ABF2 - most SWO's I know are unhappy -- but it is the easiest designator to transfer out of... Most lat transfers into the harder communities or advanced educational programs (JAG options) are SWO's. It use to be the easiest job to get in the Navy as well - not so much these days. Overall Naval Officer is an awesome job and opens lots of opportunities beyond the Navy. Keep in mind as well - not a huge percentage of Officers retire from the Navy either...
Part of the problem is they eat their young....
