Congrats. I did the opposite last weekend lol (ended it).

My date is Nov. 1. I wanted a little extra time between knowing I was accepted and starting ocs. Plus I wouldn't have to repay my signing bonus for my civy job.

Well if the relationship was bad enough a congrats can be in order too lol. Ya I want to gtfo of here and start my career ASAP.

Well...found out I am Pro-Y for Supply, so it looks like I'm going to Newport one way or another! Helps make the waiting a little more bearable, and certainly helps with the PT motivation...One more board to go!

Thanks! I'm pretty stoked. I didn't even think I was qualified for NFO until recently so Supply was my #1 choice for a long time. I will absolutely accept it and may even do so over NFO. Just looking to wear the uniform and represent my country in the Navy again so I'm definitely happy!

Out of curiosity what did everyone put as their "available for ocs" date and why?

I put June 1 because I graduated in late May and wanted to be available in case another board convened before July 15. At this point, I think it's about time I give up hoping on rolling boards...

Yeah.. My OR says that no one in the san diego region got selected (including me) and then he hits me with the AMDO board being canceled. So I'm riding on the NFO board this year only..,.

No, just that the selection rate accross the board was really low, so that means you must of had a good package for the board....

Well I thought it was ok...prior service with good Lors and a business degree and 3.85 GPA...but i knew the board would be competitive so I didnt really have my hopes up for it...I honestly thought my chances were gonna be better with NFO and SWO...but hey I'm stoked about it! That is ultimately the best reason to be in the game. Take the NFO if they give it to you though.
