I am still pondering between SWO and NFO. I like the idea of flying, but I also want to gain my own command one day, as well as attend the Naval War College later in my career. Dont let people put you down if you want SWO.

I agree. I want to command. I want the challenge. SWO is my first choice.

You most definitely will be challenged as a SWO but Aviators and Flight Officers command as well. They command such things as but not limited to Squadrons, Air Stations (entire bases) and will be the only designator(s) to command an aircraft carrier.

Someone on usnavyocs.com said that "selection rates have been brutal"... Makes me slightly worried :/ apparently the results are viewable by recruiters now too but seeing as they tend not to work we will have to wait until Monday at least. For those who are active duty the results are apparently up on BOL.

I was thinking the same thing. Is it like advancement? If you don't see anything you know you didn't make it? I think we'll see either a yes or no for pro rec. that's what an FAQ from my POC read.

Nothing on BOL, I have never seen results released on a weekend but will keep checking periodically.

I read that thread and the post mentioning BOL was just telling how the results are released, nothing about them being available now.
