Sir,

I am currently an AE2 over at FRCSE Jacksonville. I was first stationed at VP-30, where I had outstanding mentors and leadership that encouraged me to apply, including my former CO. He's the one that wrote my LOR and is currently the director of the Navy War College in Newport.

Good luck! Former AT2 with VP-26, got out just before the rush to JAX lol...be great to see you at OCS!

So this may be wishful thinking but any chance that the July board results will be released the day it's supposed to convene. Much like the March board where results were released on the convening day, again just wishful thinking :)

I was just told that I can't resubmit for this board. Apparently the instruction says that you have to wait 6 months. If this is the case, then how was I allowed to submit for the January and March boards? SMH

There has to be a significant change in your application, the 2 most common things are retaking the ASTB or if a person is in college they show GPA improvement, or they start working on a graduate degree. The other ways are a bit more difficult to get the point across, but it would be something like volunteering, or such.

Since this is the thread for rolling boards, can anyone explain exactly how those work? Is it that applications can be submitted and a selection board may convene at any time and pro-rec applications out of the bunch? My OSO told me that was in place for Pilot, NFO, and SWO.

That's what I said, but somethings in the military are beyond your control. I'm just happy to finally have it submitted so that I may have a chance.

Mine was pretty last minute as well. What a relief to get it in. Good luck!
