I would say your oar is on the lower side. But you also have to have some sort of change in your application to reapply without waiting the 6 months. Usually ASTB and GPA are what an applicant can change.

What would you say about my scores? I'm debating retaking it and I'm getting close to aging out. I'll turn 27 in June of 2015.

In addition to what Mr. Spenz said if you just wait and reapply you are hoping that the quality of others goes down so that your application will get picked up, with 7's you are in a tough spot.

Well being that I already graduated I can't do anything about my GPA. I will have to retake not only in hopes of getting better scores, but to eliminate the 6 month waiting period to prevent me from getting close to aging out. Any idea how age waivers work with me being guard? I don't have that much active duty time, I've mostly been on a part time status.

Even if it only buys you a month or two, that could be what makes the difference. Hope you make it man!

The race to the next board is on. Factoring in a week of review time at NRC before shoving to the PM for review again. I'm targeting the ASTB sometime about two weeks from now. Any thoughts on that from those much more experience than myself?

Since it's so hard to predict when the next board will be I would say get it done ASAP! It seemed like after my application packet left my NRD that it took about 3 weeks before it would have made it to the actual selection board. I can't confirm how long it actually took that's just how long it seemed on my end.

Pro-rec'd SNA and NFO from NRD Jacksonville! Congratulations to those who made it and to those whose kit didn't I feel your pain, I missed May's board by a day.

Those who got pro-rec'd, what happens now?

I missed the May Boards by 2 days, it's that feeling of "so, very close". I will find out tomorrow if I am Pro-Rec Y or N for NFO, so I'm crossing my fingers.

Pro-rec Y SNA & NFO out of NRD Denver!

Congrats to all who were selected and good luck to everyone else! I followed the past two boards intently, only to find out my kit hadn't been seen shortly thereafter.

Hope to see you all out in the fleet!

Congrats man!

Couple of quick questions since my CCC is TAD for the next 2 weeks... My package has been bottom lined by the CO, however, in his statement he did not put a date available for transfer (the blurb above his signature states it should be included) is this really necessary? My second question is, on the Tatoo/ Body piercing screening, does the CO have to bottom line it? My chief signed under "recruiter".
