My dreams of getting selected for OCS are beginning to get out of control. I had a record breaking 4 dreams in one night a few days ago. Hoping that my dreams will soon become a reality. Again, is it August yet???

Pretty much how I feel, I am tentatively schedule to retake the ASTB in two weeks, but I may more that up depending on how I feel my prep is going. Here we go again.

Ok All... I am confused. My Recruiter told me all remaining boards for FY14 were closed and the next board is in November. I had my packet done in time to get the July Board. Whats the scoop? I can't get a straight answer. Is there going to be a July Board (on the 15th... you know... tomorrow....-_-) or are all remaining Navy SNA boards done until November?

We are expecting around August time frame. 90-120 days from the last one which was held in June, possibly sooner.

Where did that info come from? I wasn't aware of a board in June. My recruiter told me the last board was in may. You can see my confusion on all this...

Ha! I think he's been pre-occupied by a trip to Italy recently... Thank you all very much! That really helped. Does anybody know when the packet had to be sent up to meet that last board? My stuff was submitted 11 Jun according to my recruiter, and the last thing I heard it was postponed.

before the responses start in that may or may not make you wonder if you made the board, if known you may want to clarify, was your application submitted to NRC or submitted to his COC on June 11th?

That I am not sure. He said that he sent my stuff up with the caveat that we were waiting on my LOR from Aviano, and would send it when we got it. I got the message saying that everything, including final LOR, was up on the 11th.

I was told yesterday that the next Navy SNA selection board won't be until October. If I understand it right, the selections for this fiscal year are over and they are awaiting numbers for the next fiscal year before they hold another board.
