May boards

Well, I am officially not in the May Boards. My service record has yet to come back from what my OR has said. This sucks man. I have been waiting since Feb. for this thing to come back so I can be reviewed. Hoping for June. Good Luck to all!

My application went out late again this month... I think I'm gonna get screwed into the June boards. It went out this morning, but it has to be in by tomorrow.

Looking at everyone elses stats, it seems like this is going to be a real competitive month for SNA. Everyone seems to have a lot of flight time and great LOR's. I know they need a lot of pilots this month to start OCS asap to make the fiscal year budget and get guys in flight school with the 2009 money, but it will be an uphill battle.

Do not feel bad man. I have been waiting to get to the board since Feb. I am prior enlisted and have to put my service record in my package. My OR ordered my SR back in Feb and nothing back yet. The system really sucks very bad.

If they are still going by the FY09 schedule SWO/SNA/NFO meet on May 15th.

The middle of the page on this link has an excel file that shows when all FY09 boards are scheduled to meet.

Yeah I'm in the June boards now as well too...so you've already got some company lol. I've been trying to get in since January (started in December) so the road to completion is a long one - just keep in mind what's at the end of the line, and it'll all payoff.

ha, how ironic. I start the thread for the may boards and come to find out I've been rolled to June too. Go figure right?

I guess I'll have to check with my recruiter to see if I made the May boards. I sure as hell hope so though I submitted March 27.

Are you guy's finding out why your package didn't make it through the processing office in time? There is/was missing information? Or is all you know is that you will be not seen in May?

I'd certainly imagine you would be reviewed in may. I wasnt rolled, my kit just hasnt made it to Tenn. yet. I met with my OR April 20th to finish my kit and he said it would go out by the 25th. I just recieved a LOR from a Capt. who was out of the country for a couple months and couldnt get my LOR to me until now. So I asked my OR how difficult it would be to get that letter to Tenn before the board reviewed my package and he said it would be real easy because my package is still with his boss??? His reasoning was that the office was getting inspected all last week and this slowed down?? How much does that suck!!

hah, for the sanity sake, I think you better plan on June. If you get a surprise select call in a few weeks... all the better!

Good call, he did say however that he would call me and let me know if I did for sure make it to the board this month. When do you that'd be, like the 12th or 13th??
