If you meet the ISPP PA and have no waivers you will be selected the only way that doesn't happen is 1) if there are no spots to give and if that happens you will know as the board will have been cancelled or 2) you don't meet the ISPP PA and are sent to the regular board and that has happened. The program authorization made it sound like it was a guarantee selection but as we know, nothing is guaranteed. I guess my next question would be, if I only put SNA on the application, would they still select me and just give me SNFO or would they just roll me to the next one? I know there was a little confusion with the schedule if this was the last board for FY24 or the first for FY25. If it’s the latter, that would be beneficial to us hoping for SNA slots correct?
If you put SNA you will get SNA as ISPP.
It would be difficult for a person on this board to be able to fill FY 24 spots, possible but not probable. The April board normally is for selecting only FY 25 due to time restraints, it puts a lot of pressure on those at NRC to get anyone shipped for FY 24.It’s cleared up this board is the first for FY25, if you look on the document with all of the boards listed it says Fy25 for this board and recruiters have verified this. This board is picking SNFO for fy24 and SNA for fy25. This would be a good sign since that means sna slots aren’t completely filled
