Rolling Boards/ June 2013 Board

Oh lord...here we go again...those DI's are gonna have all kinds of fun with some people in here lol. Lets keep it civil gents and shipmates...
 
Lol, very true. I wasn't trying to insinuate that they would be worse because of what is said on here...just that with people being this touchy it should make for an interesting time at OCS! haha :D
 
Haha I completely agree! Overly sensitive in a online thread. Oh well you never heard anything back about your package?
 
That's what I know as of now. I emailed my OR a few days ago to check in. I hadn't talked to him since the last results came out. He did confirm that I'm good to go for the July 15 board, and I wasn't kicked back for anything minor as some other people have been. He also confirmed that my package was currently at a Supply board, which according to the pro rec board schedule floating around, is scheduled to take place June 10th. It would be nice to be selected and only have to wait on NFO to see if I have the choice!

On a more positive vibe, question for the Aviators out there, who gives out call signs? If you hate the one given you, do you have any say?

Lol...a call sign is a term of endearment that describes you....others will decide it for you and unless you put up a big stink your pretty much stuck...it will follow you from one command to another anyway...im sure a pilot or nfo will elaborate for us...

In threads throughout AW they have said it comes from doing something stupid (or drunk) during flight school or in the fleet.
