After 4 years of high school at an all boys school on an island, than 2 years of an "honor" military school I was let loose at a school where the girls had to put their picture on their admission app, so doggies were at a minimum...
First semester.....GPA 0.06 that was a tuff hole to dig out from.
But the eternal conundrum; NROTC, OCS, USNA which one is worth the "investment" from the taxpayers ? Who cares, you're in, try not to hurt yourself or somebody else in the same uni, don't bend, break, crash, or lose what they give you to use, and all is well.
