Thank you!! Exactly. I tried to make it as simple as possible regardless of fitness level.Gonna try it out! I really like the structure of it. Can be very useful for people who just don't know how to break up their training efficiently.

It will only be unsuccessful if you don’t finish. You can walk as much as you’d like, or run as much as you’d like—that’s perfectly fine! I promise you’re not the only person who feels this way.In your opinion, what should I do for running, I can barely run more than 400m [0.25 mi] in one go, which means that I can't even do a successful baseline test
Agreed. Even a fast walk can keep you progressing.@NoobFinder I would just run. Don't need to go fast. In fact slower is better. Build your aerobic base. Lose weight if need be. I am not a great runner whatsover but, this is what has helped me
couchto5k app. I was in a similar boat as you, could barely run .75 miles in one go, did the 8 week program and now can run 3 miles in one go...havent tried farther distances but could likely go further, focusing on getting faster nowIn your opinion, what should I do for running, I can barely run more than 400m [0.25 mi] in one go, which means that I can't even do a successful baseline test
That’s awesome to hear! It sounds like you’ve really found a great coach and made fantastic progress—congrats on exceeding your original goal. I’m all for resources that help people hit their targets. I’m 35, and in my own training plan, 6 WEEK FITNESS IMPROVEMENT PLAN, I went from a 12:46 to a 10:45 1.5-mile run, so I’ve been thrilled with how well it’s working for me. I love hearing about different approaches that motivate people. What is your next goal? Not opposed to the apps I think they’re a great spot to start. However, if you are like me and don’t mind spending a little money. Check out TeamRunRun, you can go on there and look up a running coach that fits your needs, budget and mentor style. It’s a great way to get someone to tailor a routine specific to your goals and needs. I’ve been working with one coach since last September and I could run a mile before, but now I can run 5 miles without sweating and run a 1.5 mile beyond the original goal I had. My original goal was 13:00 (I’m 30 years old) now I can run in under 12:30.
You got this!! Let me know if I can assist.I can run 1330 in 1.5 mile, goal is 1245 by end of March. I'll try out your 6 week thing.

It’s an exaggeration. I do perspire, although, not that much. I’m also doing a conversational pace the entire time.As somebody training for a marathon...
if you're running 5 miles without sweating, you're dehydrated![]()
Not a question, but I figured this would be a good spot to post:
I created a quizlet outlining the knowledge expected upon arrival and during at least the first three weeks of OCS.
OTCNINST 1530.6M APPENDIX B - ROOM LOCKER PERSONNEL INSPECTION REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE
I also created a 6-week Fitness Improvement Program designed to improve your PFT scores and to help condition your body for OCS.
6-Week Fitness Improvement Plan
Thank you so much for pointing out the mistake. The flashcards have been corrected.Appendix B quizlet is very helpful thank you. If you can please just correct the Sergeant Major and Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps at the very end of the list. They are listed as E-8 when they are E-9. Just to prevent any confusion to anyone using this resource to study. Thanks again!
