I did last week and asked if that was the hold up. He said once notified of selection, COs still have to submit release dates and then candidates are classed up. He only mentioned the Admiral still needing to sign off.

the past boards I've looked at they took about a week-10 days before results, some less including the last board. My recruiter told me one to two weeks. I'm not sure why it's taking longer

Yea I guess to look on the optimistic side perhaps its just all these great sailors such as you folks driving the competition up and causing the board panel to have a hard time selecting

Just spoke with a CDR at CRNC, through a mutual friend who worked for him. Quotas apparently dropped significantly due to the high selections from the previous boards. ?

I went back pretty far. Til 2018 lol, I was curious because the last board received theirs so early. But this is the longest any board has taken since 2018

Yeah the turnaround seems quite abnormal and concerning, especially with all the “extra” about lowered quotas and all that.

I’m hoping it’s more a case where they push out a bunch of people to late OCS classes than a case where they just don’t accept a majority for this board.

Last board was... Nov11(ish). Results were leaked out on Air Warriors around Nov15. Command notified me Nov 19.

Board was 11/4, I received results 11/8 from my OR. Received my class date four days later.

Even still, a 1/3 chance is pretty good. Some of you civilians should look at the enlisted advancement quotas. Those are the real hunger games. lol

Yea HM quotas are rough. Less then 1% for over 2000 taking the test. And this is why I am happy I’m going to OCS. I couldn’t deal with not promoting any more

The results of the last board were leaked, it's not typical for results to come out that soon.

They were leaked maybe a day before the official results. Official results were out 8 days after the board
