Again, where are the specifics???

Why can't one of these gentlemen put his foot down and say "Government spending is too much; government is not the solution to our problem government is the problem."

We're chastising the public for buying homes outside their means, but not the government.

He didn't get into specifics... I think, however, that as someone who has had water and light provided* directly from a nuclear reactor he may be more qualified than most to make statements about the reliability of said power source.

*All jokes about the shittyness of the life on a boat aside.

With regard to energy, I think both of them are echoing Tom Friedman's belief that alternative energy is the next big economic revolution.
