Funny thing is that the E-2C, C-2A and EA-6B use the same holdbacks. I have several white ones at home from my C-2 and EA-6B flights.....but I only have one whole one.

I'm lucky. My cousin was the flight deck troubleshooter in VAQ-129 when I got my first shot on a RAG CQ off Indy. He retrieved the holdback half and the half on the jet on our trap so I both ends of my first! It's in my office and I'll try to remember to bring it home for pic. It's kind of neat how much it stretches before it breaks.
One of my other cousins was an ABF on the same det!
I can tell you that this is called the "ductile to brittle transition." This knowledge proves I'm "Safe." Carry on.

VP and HSL have some very similar traits.
