I was going to ask the same thing. This place apparently does it, and will even replace the fake sheepskin a lot of us have on the collar with real stuff. I have no idea if they're any good, though. I can give them a thumbs up. They replaced the cuffs and waist band on mine a few years ago and did spectacular work.

I never put patches on mine because I like to wear it both in and out of uniform. To a lot of guys, though, it serves as kind of a wearable shadow box, so I can see the appeal of putting patches on it, too. I'd say personal preference.

Never had patches on mine.
However, when deployed for Op Joint Endeavor, I had a round black Velcro patch added opposite the name tag.
Sort of a happy medium, and allows for one changeable patch to be worn.
HMX-1 has the squadron patch sewn opposite the name tag.

Big fan of name, squadron (stacking optional if they look cool), and flag. Some guys have platform or WTI on right shoulder.

I like the look of all leather patches and embroidered, but I have only seen leather patches in person. Never seen someone with embroidered patches on the g-1.

Yeah, like how you’d see in WWII era. Cloth patches stitched right on the leather “top gun style”.

Huge bummer for the community since they have the highest quality patches by a wide margin. They take forever, but it’s worth it.
